Ozonated water (water that has been impregnated with high levels of ozone) is rapidly replacing the environmentally hazardous substances such as chlorine, biocides, and chromic acid worldwide in the water bottling; meat; poultry; seafood; and agricultural processing industries. Workers that spray ozonated water can be subjected to unhealthy levels of off-gas ambient ozone.
