Article: The Cybermarch™

The CyberMarchT was a national ozone air pollution study sponsored by VISTANOMICS and researched by students. The results of their environmental studies were ultimately presented to their representatives in the U.S.

Congress.

Information was e-mailed to the President of the United States and hand delivered to the US Capitol with the help of students in the D.C. area.

This national event occurred during National Clean Air Month. This concept can be repeated in State Capitals throughout the United States. Contact VISTANOMICS for help in coordinating your own State March.

Data collection is a year around process and not isolated to outdoor ambient air.

Please remember...ozone air pollution is a serious health problem worldwide. Become part of the solution.

The First Cybermarch™

On May 27, 1997 Senator Charles Robb of Virginia met students on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

The students from Conner Elementary school in Manassas Park, Virginia represented thousands of students nationwide who had been gathering ozone data in the preceeding months.
